i don’t agree with the comment not better than amir. I think their’s is place in montreal for some good Lebanese cuisine. We should not brand amir with lebanese food all the way.

A friend recommended this place to me after playing a gig on Crescent Street one night. I was starving and almost went to “whatever was closest”. He insisted that I would love the veggie pita and that it was worth the wait. Since then, I’m hooked! Great food at this place. I usually just get small stuff, but the plates look good too! Anyone who wants to surprise cater my birthday, this would be a good choice!

I love the articles here I cant help but agree with you about boustan. However, I was told another great place to go on the island, but not downtown, is Abu Elias. Apparently it has great Lebanese dishes. Has anyone ever been?

Boustan is really overrated. It's no better than Amir, tbh. Not to mention, since they throw their pitas on the grill, they tend to become very dry and brittle. My friends and I actually prefer to pick our food up from the Amir location that's just down the street on De Maisonneuve. Falafal sucks just about anywhere in Montreal, so not much to be said about that. And p.s. “Chicken Shawarma” is the correct term.

I totally agree with you. They sometime also offer buffet which i love. It is simply great.
