i could swear that it was your international correspondent who told you to go there…..one should know the Amore tuna panini was appropriately named. Italian tuna, artichoke and roasted garlic spread and provolone cheese….that is true love to me.

When in the area, it is recommended that you save room for a bagel, lox and cream cheese from Fairmont Bagel two doors down. If you are daring enough to have this second course, you must have your bagel made by Jen. She knows how to make it right. Cream cheese on both sides of the hot black seed bagel and just the right amount of lox. Then you walk back over to, as i like to call it the “cafe” and you smile at Joe behind the counter and he will drizzle some lemon olive oil on you bagel and then you can sit outside and enjoy the anonymity that mile end has to offer.

When i come to montreal i indulge in a great esspresso and a pop shop cherry cola (like when we were young) and if i have time ill have a porchetta sandwich ……………………plus ask for rosie too…………….youll love her

What happened to this marvelous little gem? A few months ago I went in and the service was first rate now there is this chubby glasses wearing troll who looks like he might spaz at any minute please replace him and bring back the women and the hawk guy they were great

this coffee shop is absolutly abismal!!!!!!!! horrible service!!!!!!! the coffee was bitter and watery and although i asked for a ristretto i was given the equivalent of a cup of soup . It seems as if this place is headed in a downword spiral……..anyhow if in the area i recomend the coffee at Montee du lait across st laurent but before go pick up a jar of salsa della nonna a few doors down and say hi to rosie………
