I found it very stuffy and felt somewhat claustrophobic--can't imagine what it is like in the summer! Food was nothing special; it is not-expensive. It is definitely spicy which i enjoyed but the noodles were overcooked. The chicken had a lot of cinnamon which was okay--nothing to write home about. I could see that there were people who are regular and it was surprisingly busy. The noodles were extremely over cooked. The place was dirty, the kitchen was small and disorganized. The ambiance was ok but I don't know why they were playing the pulp fiction movie in the background. The Chef complained about us because we took individual plate at lower price instead of the table d'hôte double the price. On top of that he made racist comments about white people. WTF ? First of, when you go to a malaysian restaurant, you expect malaysian folks cooking for you, not caucasians (dont get me wrong, but you dont wanna jamaicans serving you at a sushi place if you see what I mean). The food wasn’t bad but the prices where, I mean when you have a table d’hôte at 22$ you expect the place to be upscale, you dont wanna a literally thumbnail samosas (as a hint they call them samositas) and you don’t wanna see the waitress filling water from the Bathroom (am not making this up). A very good advice, dont go there but if you do, just remember that someone told you not to. What a disapointment!!!

However, I haven't been back in quite a while because prices went up, the restaurant got over-run by obnoxious, loud McGillians and the waiter that now helps out had ATTITUDE. So disappointing. Back in the day, when this restaurant first opened, it was great! Exactly as described above. The food was reasonably priced, DELICIOUS and a great, laid-back atmosphere.
