On Tripolis Restaurant Montreal Chef Deck says:

Emanuele the Greek introduced use a few years back and since then I have been enjoying our great love affair. Of all the reasonably priced Montreal Greek Restaurants, I must say Tripolis you are my number one. Your grilled Octopus is at par with all the top Greek restaurants in Montreal. The village Greek salad is almost perfect (could use goat feta but your olive oil is top notch), charcoal grilled lamb chops are amazing, lamb ribs make me weep, your grilled shrimp are big and beautiful, saganaki is perfection, great tzatziki, fried potatoes in olive oil so dang good, love your horta, and best of all you have the mini wine glasses for your Malamatina. Ta boot you’re opened until 2am every night and 5am on the weekends!

Sitting on the terrace and people watching in park extension: So entertaining/10

Food: 8.23237/10

Atmosphere: Packed with all the neighborhood Greeks who tell amazing stories/10

tripolis in Laval is as overated reataurant. the service is terrible, the food is overpriced for what you get, especially their specials. I had green beans with potatoes in a tomatoe sauce(special) and was charged $17.00. there was 1 potatoe ! The Tzatziki has no Garlic and the taramosalata is as bland as I have ever tatsted. Their “famous” porc souvlaki is smothered in fat. I have requented this restaurant since it opened in Laval and I can honestly tell you I am done ! I used to go to Atomic and I should have never changed. See ya Tripolis….never again
