On Montreal restaurant Ye Olde Orchard Chef Deck Says:
There once was a man from Ireland
Whose boredom grew tall to the highlands
He decided to move, to Monkland who knew
To pull pint’s for a living near Jews (trust me it would have been wittier if i was allowed to use dirty words).
Ye Olde Orchard pub has always been, and will remain, one of my favourite Montreal pubs. Their Sri Lankan curry is some of the best in Montreal, top notch bangers and mash (get the William Swiss), and the ye olde burger will never disappoint (though i suggest getting Monteray Jack over swiss). Oh ya almost forgot, they have all the best beers on tap (Guinness, Smithwicks, Kilkenny etc…) and one of the finest selections of single malts.
Entertainment: hell ya, they got trivia night/10
Service: kilts and windy days don’t necessarily mix/10
Food: 8.1212312/10

they do have great pints although their wait staff are little fascists regarding the ‘list’ for a seat outside.

I must say that you bring up a valid argument lilmisspoutiner….a trick you can pull though is “accidentally” vomiting on an unsuspecting customer forcing them to have to go home and change in turn giving you a free but smelly seat.

The curry is amazing thanks to the Sri Lankin chef in the kitchen. Definitely worth trying while having a beer.

Steve, I’m resentful because you never let me play in your pubway bach in 2001. I had a repertoire of over 60 Irish tunes and would have played for free, but now you’ll have to pay me big time.
